Shrayes Gunna (he/him) is a sophomore at Cornell University from Dallas, TX studying Asian Studies and Information Science, an academic area rooted in his passion for uplifting individuals in emerging markets through business and technology. Outside of the classroom, Shrayes is an experienced storyteller in a variety of mediums—visual art, journalism, debate—a skill he translates to his strategy work with Social Business Consulting and Valor Venture Capital. His passion for civic engagement and policy was born out of the COVID-19 pandemic, wherein he interned with both a congressional and municipal election campaign. He is excited to be a Cornell ASCET campus coordinator to help inform his fellow students about the value of their vote.
